The rickshaw’s what came of the jin-riki-sha,
What is it, you ask? I’ll paint you a picture:
It’s like a big pram that takes people to roam,
Who want to get around quickly, in comfort, although…
Pulling the wheels is not a horse, nor a donkey,
But a man, a real man, and that’s somethin’ wonky.
Is it really the time to commemorate blokes
Who invented the strain of other poor folks?
In conclusion I find, having taken stock,
That some of these monuments are a damn waste of rock.

Ho Saputo che a Tokio in un vecchio monastero
Hanno messo un monumento, ma strano per davvero.
È dedicato, dicono, a tre bravi signori
Che del fin-riki-sha furono gli inventori.
Questo fin-riki-sha sarebbe poi il riksciò.

In conclusione io trovo, dopo averci ben pensato,
che certi monumenti sono marmo sprecato.
